In a phone call, on 29 April, Foreign Affairs Minister, Sabri Boukadoum and US Secretary of State, Tony Blinken, discussed ways to revive and strengthen the strategic partnership between Algeria and the United States of America in various fields. They also exchanged views on regional issues of common interest, particularly the situations in Western Sahara, Libya and Mali.

Following the death of the Mujahid and lawyer Ali Yahya Abdenour, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, addressed on Sunday 25th April a message of condolence and compassion to the family of the deceased, his relatives and his companions Mujahedeen, in which he praised his long struggle in the ranks of the national movement and during the glorious liberation revolution and his service to independent Algeria.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Sabri Boukadoum reiterated on 25th April Algeria’s commitment to pursue its efforts to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to join the international community to complete the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
