Sonatrach signed on 17th May a Memorandum of Understanding with the Norwegian oil and gas company Equinor to strengthen the existing partnership in oil exploration and production in Algeria and beyond. The new deal also includes a partnership on new technologies and environmental protection in current and new projects, particularly emissions reduction and carbon capture, improvement of recovery figures and development of a flexible operating model.

Algeria’s air borders will partially reopen from June 1st

The five-flight programme will be adopted under strict anti-Covid-19 preventive measures. The Embassy will inform in due time the Algerian community on the conditions of traveling from the UK to Algeria.
