In a message addressed to the nation on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the independence and Youth Day, on 5 July, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune paid tribute to the martyrs of the glorious Liberation War who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Mr. Tebboune added that the Algerian people, who today celebrate the recovery of national sovereignty, and who draw upon the genius of their children and on the authentic blessed Hirak, remain highly vigilant to protect the supreme interests of the nation and the landmarks of his path to unity and glory.
