The Constitutional Council announced, on Wednesday evening 23 June, the final results of the 12 June 2021 legislative elections, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the Organic Law on the electoral regime.

Polling stations: Legislative Elections of 12th June 2021
The Embassy of Algeria in London is pleased to inform the Algerian nationals in the United Kingdom and Ireland, who are enrolled in the electoral lists that the voting process for the legislative elections will be held on 10th, 11th and 12th June 2021, at the seven following Polling Stations:
ANNOUNCEMENT: Media coverage of the June-12 Legislative Elections
The National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE) informs foreign media wishing to cover the Legislative elections which will be held on the 12th of June 2021 that the deadline to apply for a provisional press accreditation is set from Wednesday 28 April 2021 to Friday 28 May 2021 (included).
The application for a provisional press accreditation is to be submitted to the Algerian diplomatic or consular missions in the country where the Headquarter of the media employing the journalist(s) is located.
Legislative Elections 2021: May 9th, deadline set for examination of candidacies
The National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE) has set the deadline for the examination of candidacies to the upcoming legislative elections for the 9th May.
Legislative Elections / June 12: Deadline for candidacy submission extended
The Independent National Authority for Elections announced on 22nd April that the deadline for candidacy submission for the June-12 Legislative elections has been extended to 28th April.
– Thus, the independent candidates must deposit their nomination applications at the Consulate General of Algeria in London at the latest on 28th April at 18H00.
– Lists of Candidates from political parties must be submitted at the latest on 28th April at 00H00.
Vote by proxy on the June-12 Legislative Elections
The Embassy of Algeria in London is pleased to inform all Algerian nationals residing in the UK and Ireland who are registered in the electoral list at the Algerian Consulate General in London, that in line with the provisions of article 161 of the Organic Law N° 21-03 on mars 10, 2021, they can apply for a proxy if they are unable to vote in person, as follows:
New slogans unveiled for the June 12 legislative elections with “Change” as keyword
The National Indepedent Authority for Elections (ANIE) has unveiled the two official slogans for the legislative elections of June 12th, namely “At the dawn of change” and “you want change! So vote”. The slogans were issued in both Arabic and Amazigh languages.
Review of the electoral rolls – 16th March to 23rd March 2021 –
In accordance with the Presidential Decree No. 96-01 convening the electorate for the legislative elections on June 12th, 2021, the Consulate General in London has proceeded with the extraordinary review of electoral rolls from March 16th to March 23rd, 2021.
