Algeria hosts on 2-4 December 2021 in Oran, the 8th High-level Seminar on Peace & Security in Africa. Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane LAMAMRA, who launched this Seminar, declared that this event is a renewed opportunity to redouble our efforts towards making Africa’s voice stronger, ensure that its efforts are recognized & that its interests are duly taken into account.

President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune paid tribute Monday, at the Maqam Echahid (Martyrs Memorial) in Algiers, to the memory of the martyrs of the glorious National Liberation War (1954-1962) on the occasion of its 67th anniversary. On the occasion of the 60th National Immigration Day, the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune decreed the observance of one minute of silence every year across the entire country, every 17 October at 11 AM, in remembrance of the martyrs of the massacres of 17 October 1961 in Paris.

A business meeting on “UK-Algeria Energy Transition and Roadmap to COP26” was jointly organised by the Algerian Embassy in London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) and the British Embassy in Algiers, on 14th October 2021.
