The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune had, on Monday, 23th August, a phone conversation with the President of Tunisia, Kaïs Saïed, during which he reiterated Algeria’s solidarity with Tunisia at this critical stage. Both leaders discussed ways to support Algeria-Tunisia relations in various fields.

The Embassy and the Consulate General organised on the 20th August, with the presence of members of the Algerian community in the United Kingdom, a commemoration ceremony in remembrance of the North Constantine offensive in August 20th, 1955 and the Soummam Congress, in August 20th, 1956. The ceremony was marked by the rising the Algerian Flag, the listening to the national anthem, the reading of the Fatiha.

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune received, on 16th August, a phone call from the King of Saudi Arabia, Salmane Ben Abdelaziz Al-Saoud who offered his sincere condolences to him, to the Algerian people and to the families of the martyrs of the forest fires, assuring him of the solidarity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with Algeria in these difficult circumstances.
