Following the death of the Mujahid and lawyer Ali Yahya Abdenour, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, addressed on Sunday 25th April a message of condolence and compassion to the family of the deceased, his relatives and his companions Mujahedeen, in which he praised his long struggle in the ranks of the national movement and during the glorious liberation revolution and his service to independent Algeria.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Sabri Boukadoum reiterated on 25th April Algeria’s commitment to pursue its efforts to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to join the international community to complete the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Sabri Boukadoum was received along with the Minister of Interior Kamel Beldjoud by Libyan Prime Minister Abdelhamid Dbeibah during a working visit to Libya on Monday 19th April. The President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received on Monday, 5th April, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Mali Zeyni Moulaye.   After the audience, the Malian Foreign Minister declared that he transmitted to the President Abdelmadjid Tebboune a message from “his brother and friend, the Head of State of Mali Bah N’Daw”, relating to the strengthening of the relations of friendship and cooperation between Algeria and Mali.

The President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune had a phone conversation, on Wednesday, 14th April, with the President of the Republic of Niger Mohamed Bazoum. On this occasion, the two leaders addressed the exceptional level of cooperation between Algeria and Niger and discussed the means of promoting the relations between the two countries.  

Foreign Minister Sabri Boukadoum was received during an official tour in Africa, from 24-26 March, by Presidents of Cameroon, Guinea and Sierra Leone, with whom he discussed issues of peace and security in Africa and the means to reinforce bilateral relations and economic cooperation between Algeria and these countries.
