The Embassy of Algeria hosted today, 28th March 2022, a meeting of the African Union Heads of Mission Group in London during which H.E. Mr. Mene Wamkele, Secretary-General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, gave an insightful briefing on the state of play of the AfCFTA negotiations and the steps forwards to the start of commercially meaningful trade.

The Embassy and the Consulate General will organise a commemoration ceremony on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of Algeria’s Victory Day, on the 19th of March 2022, at 14h00, at the Consulate General. The members of the Algerian community in the UK are cordially invited to attend the ceremony which will be presided over by Ambassador Lounès Magramane.
