The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune ordered at the Council of Ministers he chaired on Sunday 24 April to revise the prices of air and sea transport tickets before the summer season for the national community abroad, the Council of Ministers said in a statement. As for the increase in the number of international flights in anticipation of the summer season, the President of the Republic ordered the Minister of Transport to initiate the revision of air and sea transport tickets before the summer season for the benefit of the national community so as to encourage them to opt for national transport companies. Ambassador Lounès Magramane received today, 20th April 2022, at the Embassy, Mr. Alexander Stafford, Conservative Member of Parliament and Chair of All-Party Parliamentary Group on Algeria (APPG-Algeria). On this occasion, they looked forward to renewing contact between the Algeria-UK friendship Parliamentary group and its British counterpart, APPG-Algeria, to further strengthen parliamentary links between the two countries.

The Embassy of Algeria in the UK will be holding the 4th Embassy Research Network – Knowledge Day / يوم العلم on the 19th of April at 3 pm on Zoom. The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune held talks in Algiersm, on Monday 11th April, with the President of Italy’s Council of Ministers, Mario Draghi. Previously, President Tebboune gave Draghi an official welcome at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic. Following the meeting, Mr. Mario Draghi said that his country was working to further strengthen its cooperation with Algeria, Italy’s largest trading partner in Africa. APS.

Ambassador Lounès Magramane met, via video link on 6th April, Lord Ahmed of Wimbledon, Minister of State for South and Central Asia, North Africa, United Nations and the Commonwealth in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). On this occasion, they had fruitful discussions on regional and international issues and looked forward to further strengthening and diversifying the bilateral cooperation between Algeria and the United Kingdom.
