The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sabri Boukadoum, congratulated on Wednesday, 17 th March, El Ghassim Wane on his appointment as Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), wishing him full success in his mission. He also expressed his willingness to work together to advance peace and stability in the Friendly country of Mali and throughout the region.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sabri Boukadoum, had a conversation on Wednesday, 17th March, with the UN Secretary-General Special Envoy for Libya, Jan Kubis. On this occasion, he reiterated Algeria’s readiness to support the peace and reconciliation process in Libya. He also welcomed the positive steps taken by the brotherly Libyan people to close ranks.

The Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad had a phone conversation, on Sunday, 14th March, with the Prime Minister of the New Government of National Unity of Libya, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah.
