The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra took part, by video conference, in the Mid-Term Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), under the presidency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On this occasion, Mr. Lamamra underlined the need for all Member States of the Movement to reaffirm their attachment to the ideals and principles of the Movement and pleaded for the promotion of international cooperation and the strengthening of the multilateral system, while respecting the objectives and principles of the United Nations Charter.
He added in this regard that Algeria will continue to promote the values of multilateralism by advancing political and peaceful solutions to crises in its neighborhood and beyond, as well as through its numerous initiatives aimed at stimulating regional and continental economic integration.
