Ambassador Lounès Magramane met today, 18th April 2023, the Speaker of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, Sir Lindsay Hoyle. On this occasion, Ambassador Magramane and Speaker Hoyle had fruitful discussions on ways and means of enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation between Algeria and the United Kingdom. They also agreed on the importance of holding mutual visits between MPs of both countries which contributes to the promotion of bilateral relations in various areas. 

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Sunday in Algiers the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Faisal Al-Meqdad, holder of a message from the Syrian President, Bashar Al-Assad. The audience took place in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf and the Director of Cabinet at the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ennadir Larbaoui.
