The Embassy and the Consulate General will organise a commemoration ceremony on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of Algeria’s Victory Day, on the 19th of March 2022, at 14h00, at the Consulate General. The members of the Algerian community in the UK are cordially invited to attend the ceremony which will be presided over by Ambassador Lounès Magramane.

The Embassy and the Consulate General will organise a commemoration ceremony on the occasion of the National Chahid (Martyr) Day, on the 18th of February 2022, at 14h30, at the Consulate General. The members of the Algerian community in the UK are cordially invited to attend the ceremony which will be presided over by Ambassador Lounès Magramane along with Consul General Abdelkrim Beha. 

Ambassador Lounès Magramane received at the Embassy, on 1st February, Mr. Bandar Reda, Secretary General and CEO of Arab-British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC). On this occasion, they reiterated their willingness to further enhance cooperation between the Embassy and the Chamber and to strengthen the business partnership between Algeria and the United Kingdom.

Ambassador Lounès Magramane received at the Embassy, on 20th January 2022, Lady Olga Maitland, Chairman of the Algerian-British Business Council (ABBC). On this occasion, they reviewed the existing cooperation between the Embassy and the ABBC and expressed their commitment to promote further business relations between Algeria and the United Kingdom in sectors of mutual interests. 

Ambassador Lounès Magramane received on the 18th January, at the Embassy of Algeria, Professor J. R. Monroy, Founder and Chairman of Latin American and Caribbean Cultural Society (LACCS-UK). During the meeting, they discussed opportunities of collaboration with LACCS-UK and ways of promoting Algerian culture and arts in the UK.  

Ambassador Lounès Magramane met on 11th January, at the Embassy of Algeria, Lord Richard Risby, Personal Envoy of the Prime Minister for Economic Partnership with Algeria. On this occasion, both expressed their commitment to further strengthen and diversify the bilateral cooperation.
