The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired Monday a meeting of the Council of Ministers, during which he gave instructions to the Government to offer an exceptional reduction of air and sea transport prices during Ramadan up to 50% for the members of the national community abroad, said the Presidency of the Republic in a statement.

Ambassador Lounès MAGRAMANE received, on 7th March 2023 at the Embassy, Mr. Arnaud Petit, Executive Director of the International Grains Council (IGC). On this occasion, they reviewed the latest developments in the international grain trade, and discussed ways and means to support the efforts of the Council in delivering its missions. 

Ambassador Lounès Magramane received today, 13th March, at the Embassy of Algeria in London, the British Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa, Air Marshal Martin Elliot Sampson. On this occasion, they discussed ways to enhance the defence bilateral relations and to build on the recent successful visits to Algeria by Air Marshal Martin in January 2023 and the British Minister of State for the Armed Forces James Stephen Heappey on 26th February 2023.

Ambassador Lounès Magramane received on 25th January 2023, a courtesy visit at the Embassy of Algeria from Mr. Jeremiah Nyamane Mamabolo, High Commissioner of South Africa to the United Kingdom.  On this occasion, both had fruitful discussions where they exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues.    

Ambassador Lounès Magramane took part in the reception organised by the FCDO and the DIT on the occasion of the launch of the Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS) with the presence of Minister of State, Anne-Marie Trevelyan and DIT Minister of State, Greg Hands.
