Your Majesty,
It is with deep sorrow that I learned of the passing away of your beloved husband,
His Royal Highness, The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His loss will be felt in
his great country and by many in Algeria and around the world.
On behalf of the Algerian Government and people, and on my own behalf, I would
like, in this sad circumstance, to extend to your Majesty and to all members of the
Royal family and to the British Government and people my most sincere
condolences and my heartfelt sympathy.
