Ramtane Lamamra, Ministre of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, was received, on 28 July 2021, by the President of the Republic of Ethiopia, Sahle-Work Zewde, to whom he conveyed the fraternal greetings of the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune On this occasion several issues were discussed such as the strategic relations between Algeria and Ethiopia, the peace and security in Africa and the prospects for strengthening the Arab-African partnership.

The Algerian people will commemorate, Saturday, 8th May, the 76th anniversary of the massacres by the French colonial army of more than 45.000 innocent civilians who were demonstrating peacefully in favour of the country’s independence.
