Submission of Applications
Interested individuals may contact the Algerian embassies and consulates in their country of residence to submit their visa applications.
Applications can be submitted either individually or collectively through focal points designated by AFREXIMBANK.
Required Documents
- Completed and signed visa application form;
- Passport with at least 6 months of validity;
- Photocopy of passport pages containing personal information;
- Document confirming registration validation on the IATF 2025 platform;
- Two recent passport-sized photos;
- Payment of visa fees;
- Hotel reservation**;
- Round-trip flight booking**.
If not available at the time of application, these two documents (hotel and flight reservations) must be submitted when collecting the visa.
Visa on Arrival
Upon arrival on Algerian territory, participants must present themselves to the competent authorities at border control, holding a valid travel document along with a consular visa.
Required Documents for a Visa on Arrival
- Regularization visa application form;
- Valid passport (minimum six months);
- Copy of the passport pages containing personal information;
- Document proving the request for entry into Algeria (confirmation of registration on the IATF 2025 platform);
- Payment of visa fees as stipulated in Article 48 of the 2025 Finance Law;
- Proof of accommodation in Algeria (hotel booking);
- Return ticket.
Participants eligible for a visa on arrival must carry a boarding authorisation certificate issued by the competent services of the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to be allowed to board a flight to an Algerian airport.
