Algeria denounces and condemns the flagrant Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Such an aggression would never have occurred without the impunity and the non-accountability that the aggressor enjoys.
This aggression, which violates all international laws, particularly the principles of the UN Charter, confirms that the systemic hostile policy of Israeli settlement colonisation is a policy based on the illusion of securing the security and stability of its entity at the expense of the security and stability of its neighbourhood, beginning with Palestinians in all occupied territories and extending to all neighbouring countries without exception.
While warning against the risks of yielding to the arrogance and tyranny of the Israeli occupation, Algeria calls on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to fully shoulder its responsibilities by working to preserve international peace and security, and to end Israeli occupation policies that threaten the security and stability of the entire region.
